We packed our bags last Friday night, set the alarm for 4:30 and hit the road at 5 am to drive 13 hours to Myrtle Beach, SC. We had an amazing time and Lucas LOVED the ocean. He loved to "run" to it and stomp in the water. He was sick though and it was pretty obvious. He would play for about 30 minutes and then sleep for a couple of hours. The ocean air did help him though and he came home feeling better. We rented chairs and an umbrella every day and it was perfect. I laid out while Chris and Lucas napped. I'm going to post the pictures in a series of posts or else blogger land might blow up at the enormous amount of pictures. I'm going to start with our road trip taken with my iPhone.
