We're heading to south Carolina for a few days to hit the beach. I've never been there before. My parents took me and my sister on a long car trip while I was still in diapers (they put off diaper training to make the trip easier). I don't have any memory of the trip, but I'm so excited to be doing the same thing with Lucas. Our trip is 13 hours and we left at 5:15 am. Hopefully Lucas handles the trip well.

Aidan Christopher, born at 28 weeks and 4 days due to the umbilical cord no longer providing nutrients and it being wrapped around his neck one time. When he was a day old the doctor found a massive bleed in his brain. Aidan passed away at 8 days old. Chris and I welcomed our second son, Lucas Alexander, to the world on February 21st. New here? Aidan's story begins in February 2010.
