2 years ago was my due date with Aidan. 2 years ago instead of being hugely pregnant or having a newborn I was silently sobbing while people thought "it's just a due date." I didn't even think about it until I started watching a cartoon with Lucas and they started singing happy birthday and then I remember what today was. This day was just an estimated day and as we all know, Aidan's birthday is February 1st, but it still stings.

Aidan Christopher, born at 28 weeks and 4 days due to the umbilical cord no longer providing nutrients and it being wrapped around his neck one time. When he was a day old the doctor found a massive bleed in his brain. Aidan passed away at 8 days old. Chris and I welcomed our second son, Lucas Alexander, to the world on February 21st. New here?
