Had a great day today!
Later my dad made us an awesome dinner of fish and home made fries. Sooo yummy!
It's almost 9:15 so that means it's time for bed.

With bones and cartilage starting to form and vital organs beginning to function, baby is making major progress. Body length will almost double in the next three weeks, and arm joints are now working. (Soon, legs will too.)
How far along? 9wks
Total weight gain/loss: weighed in and I lost a lb and some. So now I'm up .8 pounds
Maternity clothes? nope
Sleep: I love it and can't get enough of it
Best moment this week: Telling my best friends.
Movement: yes, but I can't feel it
Food cravings: pasta and veggies!!
Gender: still thinking girl.
What I miss: nothing really
What I am looking forward to: Hearing the baby again in 2 1/2 weeks.
Weekly Wisdom: Enjoy every minute. Yeah, some of the symptoms suck, but it's worth it.

Week 9
Your little embryo has now officially graduated to fetus-hood. Adding to the excitement, a Doppler ultrasound device might be able to pick up the beating heart. With basic physical structures in place and increasingly distinct facial features, baby is kind of starting to look like... well... a baby!

Food cravings: pasta
Gender: thinking girl, based off of the heart rate
What I miss: not having to make up an excuse as to why I'm not drinking-still the same
What I am looking forward to: Telling my parents tonight!

I have someone for you to meet
Here is wiggle! I'm measuring 8w6d, but they are going to keep my due date so I'm still 8w4d. We saw the heart beat right away and then the tech turned on the sound. The heart rate was 171 and the most amazing sound I've heard. I'm absolutely in love with this little baby.
We finally convinced my in-laws that we had to see them tonight. We got them a frame that says baby and put one of the u/s pictures in there. My mother in law started to open it and was like oh it's a frame and then she looked at and said "Oh!!!" She then handed it to my father in law and he was like oh that's really..."Oh!!!!!" Both of their jaws dropped and they hugged us right away. It was amazing to finally be able to tell them.
I can't wait to tell my parent's on Thursday!

2 Firsts
He did finally apologize, but I think he now thinks I'm just a crazy pregnant lady. hahaha
My 2nd first is waking up at 3:30 to pee. Normally I just wake up at 6:30 for the day, but nope not today. I foresee many, MANY nights ahead of me getting up at that time.
